Freedom Pond

At the time I first came to Portsmouth, I was Jewish, engaged to a born again Christian. When I realized I couldn't live the the world of fundamental Christianity, I called off the wedding, only one week in advance and left the poor rural community, certain I would never come back.

Why I came back (was given the nickname Indiana Jacobs) and how I came to love the community I initially so disliked and couldn't adjust to, is only part of the story I have to tell.
